This was a really cute read! It was short and sweet.

Although the faith content was somewhat sporadic for my taste, whenever it did pop up, I enjoyed it. A very present theme throughout this book was trusting God with any and everything. We should never doubt Him because He knows what is best and has everything planned out for good. 

One thing I did dislike was how abruptly they brought up Hunter. I mean, the book starts off with Allie's Mom telling her an aunt and uncle would be adopting him. However, we have no background information about who he is. But I will say that I loved his character. He was just so cute! 

Also, I thought it was bad that Allie disobeyed her doctor's orders while at her grandparents out. Because of her asthma had gotten worse, he told her that it would be best for her to not be outside due to a storm brewing. She did so anyway, and didn't tell her parents. 

All in all, this is a good read for girls ages 11 and up. It's a fun, lighthearted read with tidbits of encouragement.
