I forgot how compelling these Grisham novels are. One list said this was his best, and I believe it. Interesting plot, nice pace, and a fascinating ending.

I have yet to be disappointed by a John Grisham novel and this is no exception to that. The level of detail that he writes with in legal proceedings is unmatched and it’s thrilling to read about the cases that he explores through his novels. ‘The Partner’ feels similar to ‘The Firm’ in that there is crime and foreign lands involved, yet the main setting of the book is the Southern US. If you like any of Grisham’s work, you’ll like this one as well.

It's a fine thriller. Perfect for when you are bored of reading, and just want to escape. Might be a little too neat for my liking honestly but I really cannot complain about a beloved thriller from two decades ago too much for being too predictable.
