Design Capability and Awareness

Designed for students taking design and art and design courses at A level, this book aims to develop different ways of looking at the power and value of design and technology. It aims to develop students understanding and awareness of the processes of these topics, and to enhance their capabilities. The authors seek to encourage a broad view of design. This includes the form and functions of objects, images and systems, as well as trends, task and values originating from historical, scientific, cultural and social fields of knowledge.
