Although still underrepresented in museum collections relative to other Tibetan arts, rug weaving may be considered the quintessential traditional folk art of that Himalayan nation. Here in one of only a handful of books on the subject are presented, through color plates and description, 73 examples of traditional Tibetan rugs.
