What a funny little mystery. After being widowed, Donna joins the agency to revenge her husband’s killer by becoming an assassin in between her single motherhood roles. So many twist and turns in this plot as she races to save her community, the world and find the real trader while getting her kids back and forth to school and practices. I absolutely loved the humorous womanly antidotes for running a house in between the chapters. Well written and audible well narrated.

The reason for the lower stars is the inconsistency in the character. At the beginning she is portrayed as the strong woman who whizzed through the CIA’s Farm and taught the good ole boys that she was as good as them. She out shot everyone and was the strong, assassin that could also juggle motherhood. Then she gets around a couple of men and she’s a babbling nymph who can’t think straight because she’s so sexually aroused and flubs the “mission.” Make her character one or the other but she can’t be both. I was looking forward to other books in the series but it looks like they are reviewed as mystery erotica. It would be so much better as the humorous mystery with a strong female character.
