Just a Bit Twisted

fine for what it was (an audiobook i played for entertainment while playing games on my phone). didn’t feel any rly strong pull or connection to either of the main characters, but also wouldn’t say they had no chemistry at all. the plot is absolutely not going to surprise or shock you in any way. there were some  nuggets for other relationships in the series, which was fun, and overall was grateful for its short length so i could finish it in one evening.

I enjoyed this! At the start I thought it was a bit rushed, and I didn’t like Andrew’s character because he used homophobic slurs a lot so I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy the story. But after a while the rushing made sense, and Andrew’s character became more bearable and endearing.

It was quite short at just 200 pages, and I wished there’d been more added to the end so we could’ve seen Logan and Andrew explore their solidified relationship. 

Co-dependency is a big theme in this book which is something I’d never really read about but surprisingly I loved it? But I also loved that the characters were aware of the issue and never romanticised it. They knew it was unhealthy which I think was an important thing to add. 

It was the first book I’ve read in this series, and it was definitely a great start to it 😄 I can see myself re-reading this again in the future and hopefully I’ll find others in the series that I enjoy too.

the ending got me a bit confused but overall great book
