Vernestra and Imri really are my favorites in this story. I absolutely love the relationship between them and seeing how they both are developing special abilities 👀 

I also enjoy the villains in this story - I won’t stay any more to avoid spoilers but they’re very interesting!! 

Reath is everything even though he’s not the main character lol he’s one of my favs throughout THR!

I liked the characters, especially learning more about Vernestra. Wish we had more with Reath since he was a main character in the first YA novel. It was long though. I felt like not enough happened until the last 100 pages (which then a LOT happened). Overall, a good continuation of the High Republic saga.
