this is just such a beautiful poem. had to read it for school to study it with our professor and i don’t regret reading the assigned book for once at all. it caught me right at the beggining and didn’t let me go until the end. the maybe even over-the-top descriptions of nature and the lake and the sky. the tragic characters and story. the first intermezzo with the ghosts. i just adore this poem so so much. just read it, it’s short and so worth it tho idk how high quality the english translation is.
