So I read half of it on my e-reader, and thought that I'd waste my eyesight if I carried on, because it seemed like a long catchy blog, so I decided to listen to the other half instead.
I already mentioned how parenting books can be so entertaining, although not recommended for softies… You'll be scared to death but, hey that's the most joyful part. The dread and the laughter: hellish combo. 
In any case, no disappointment, although if there was a prize for writing the biggest amount of curse words in one book, she'll definitely get it. I'm a bit relieved to know that she is doing her best not to be cursing in front of them kids. 
This is not the average parenting book, about how to raise a fully functional human being, or the no drama way, in fact, it's all DRAMA.
It is smoothly tackling your everyday life as a mom in the U.S, because to be honest we don't have that much drama around here. And that brings me to question if that's just me and my blurry vision, or we really have our zen way of raising kids. I've seen moms change diapers for a zillion of times, no complaining.
It's positive to be hearing that on the other side of the Atlantic ocean, women are striving to breastfeed, but it's been around here for as much as we had babies (except when it is impossible for some reason, then you shouldn't feel guilty anyway). It was very thoughtful of the author to include a serious part, about post-partum depression, and all the baby blues moms go through…thanks.
Being a mom requires a part time job ?
I don't think so, as long as you have some backup family and friends, or you are immune to bad conscience… If not, then maybe pick a job where you can be with your baby 24/7, a kindergarten teacher then, that would make you a helicopter-parent in a jiffy - Not cool… 
It can't be emphasised much but : "Kids are not a disability".
Naturally, I would recommend this to any woman out there, just take it lightly, no pressure, if they would commit to the moms manifesto, and stop bragging about their kids… (It's tiresome and irritating to receive my nephews rehearsal videos every time their end of the school year party is approaching… at 2 A.M… Thanks a lot)
