I hope my book will stand out from others like it because I am unique, and my heartaches are uniquely mine, but the depth of my pain isn't. Hundreds of individuals are carrying the excruciating, permanent agony of unrequited love, I am trying as objectively as possible to express the depth of the love I've had at every stage of development - proving I did not wake up an adolescent suddenly choosing to continue my life on the most dysfunctional path I could find. Perhaps I was immature for my adolescent years, but I hurt just as much as any normal kid - every time I expressed my love, and was ostracized for it - no matter how young I was, or how old I became. Unfortunately time heals nothing.
