Casey is spending a few summer days at Disneyland with her parents, just like they do every year. But this year is different- her best friend has just dumped her, she's worried about starting a new school in the fall, and her parents' embarrasing behavoir is annoying. So when she bumps into Bert standing by himself in line, she decides to ditch her parents and explore Disneyland with him, learning some important lessons about what it means to grow up.
