This was cute, funny, and spicy, but it ran too long. I liked it but there was too much filler in here that took away from the actual story. Because of that filler I came to the conclusion that I don’t think I have read a book that had so much miscommunication when the characters were still communicating. It was hard to sort through it all. I think it could have been a super amazing story, but the length took away from it getting there for me.

This was cute, funny, and spicy, but it ran too long. I liked it but there was too much filler in here that took away from the actual story. Because of that filler I came to the conclusion that I don’t think I have read a book that had so much miscommunication when the characters were still communicating. It was hard to sort through it all. I think it could have been a super amazing story, but the length took away from it getting there for me. 

i enjoyed this! but i didn’t love the nickname “wife”. it felt like every other sentence out of this guy’s mouth. this book could’ve easily been 200 pages shorter, but regardless, he’s a hot farmer who has been pining over this woman for years and has an acts of service love language. what’s not to love? like the birthday dinner he cooked for her being an exact replica of her dead grandmother’s special dinner recipe???? very sweet. lots of miscommunication issues though so if that’s not your thing, don’t read this.

I can’t with him saying wife every other sentence also I’m gonna be so for real, after the half-way point the spice was non-stop which I hated. Like if the storyline is gonna be a little boring and then you throw this in, I’m gonna be so bored.

the conflict through the ending was so basic, i was not expecting Shay would be too easy to.. you know, and Noah also. the few beginning chapters are what really intricates me to jump in and follow the story but as it brought me to the few last chapters.. i skimmed reading.

this book was slowwwwwww. and i couldn't really connect with the characters.

Excluding some questionable(and bumpy) plot choices and dumbing down characters just for the sake of continuing a story that could have ended at least 100pg earlier this was a fun book to read. 
For the most part the characters were sweet and likable with amazing chemistry as well.

although shay annoyed me at times (even noah in the beginning) this book was really sweet, cozy and funny. i could see myself reading it again

I loved this book so much! It’s everything and perfect and lovely and adorable and literally amazing. The characters, the development, the spice, the love, literally I can’t express any more how much I love this book. It’s hard for me to write good reviews on books I love because I can’t pinpoint every good thing when all of it was amazing so I end up repeating how much I loved it over and over. But I promise, you won’t regret reading this book. It’s every trope you could ever love and want, grumpy sunshine, (kinda sorta) found family, friends to lovers, I’ve loved you my whole life and more, marriage of convenience, small town, and (sorta ish) single dad… what more could you want!!! The best

If I could rate a book 100/10, this book deserves it. From the first page it had me hooked literally couldn't focus on anything but the book. Noah and Shay are perfect.

Finally got the chance to read this thanks for Kindle unlimited and it was an easy and great read. Sped through it and while it was some what predictable, I actually didn’t mind it.

Very hallmark movie vibes

This was my first time listening to an audio book and I loved it. I loved the way the author wrote and the double POVs. Noah was my favourite character!! At first I wasn’t to sure of him but after a while he grew on me. I find it hard reading and understanding women who blame themselves for things men do to them, so I wasn’t too keen on Shay. She just kept having a pity party for herself but I guess without it the book wouldn’t have been as good as it was. Need to read more books by this author…definitely !!!!!

Since Lollie stipulated in her will that Shay must be married within a year to permanently inherit the house and tulip farm, Noah Barden offers to enter into a marriage of convenience with the stipulation that he will help her with the tulip farm and get her idea for a wedding business off the ground. Shay has no idea that Noah has been carrying a torch for her since they went their separate ways after high school and relishes the idea that she will be his wife, no matter what the reason.

In a Jam is a well written slow burn romance that sizzles with an enjoyable cast of characters.  The love story is fully fleshed out as Shay tries to figure out what she wants to do with the rest of her life, and Noah attempts to convince her to stay.   Ginnie, Noah's niece, adds humor to the story and serves as a reason for Noah and Shay to spend more time together.  Both Noah and Shay experience differing levels of anxiety that, for the most part, appear to be realistic, but at times, seem over the top, especially from Shay.  Dramatic events are spaced evenly and avoid pacing problems.  Overall, In a Jam is an exceptional romance that offers an entertain plot and characters.

Kinda cheesy… kinda cringey. The whole “wife” bit all the time was kind of annoying. Sex scenes were good though… 🌶️ I also did really love the rambunctious child (Gennie) in this book with her pirates and cursing LOL!

His quirky niece was adorable. The town of Friendship was everything you love and hate about a small town. I absolutely loved this book 🥰

This book was so so cute I really want to buy and annotate it now 😭🥰 I’m a sucker for small town romances with a grumpy guy who’s shy and awkward and has been pining after the sunshine popular girl for yearss, and he’s the guardian to the funniest most adorable 6 year old.. Gennie was definitely one of the highlights of the book for me! I loved and related deeply to shay’s character and her insecurities.. Noah, Shay and Gennie are the most adorable family and deserve all the love in the world after everything they’ve been through.. I wish we had more fluffy domestic scenes of them as a family though.. 
The only reason I didn’t give this 5⭐️ is because I feel like the book dragged a bit in the middle, and some things about the writing were a little cringy and I would’ve loved if it was a slower burn, but it was cute and sweet and I 100% need someone to love me like Noah Barden loves Shay… 

Also I need Jaime’s book immediately

it was really good in the beginning, but the book was honestly too long for the plot. i got bored half way through, which rarely happens. there wasn’t enough conflict and the pet names were too cringey for me so i had to skim through the last bits of the book.

I am ready to pick up my life and go back to the farm I grew up on and fall in love with the only guy who ever cared for me. 

let's start with my girl Shay..she is a better woman than me bcs if my fiance abandoned me five minutes before we were meant to be walking down the aisle...he would no longer be living. to say this woman took all her parts and rebuilt herself would be an understatement. with the help of Noah and Ginnie, she found herself and what she wants. she's no longer overly concerned about what others may think and I'm so happy for her. she has found her family and I'm so proud of her. also she had the best friends a person could ever ask for. 

NOAAHHHHH!!! NOAH MY MAN. this man is delicious and has the dirtiest mouth but my all-time favorite thing is when geeks about farm stuff but specifically jam. it is the cutest most scrumdiddlyumptious thing in the entire world. my man got his girl back the same girl he's loved since HIGH SCHOOL. he was so patient with her and refused to ever let her talk badly about herself. also, he's kinda an awesome surrogate dad to his niece which also makes him hot. i love him and I want him but I also want him to stay with Shay. 

Imogen, you are the most badass, hilarious, swearing-like-a-sailor child I've ever read about and I love you.
