I chose to read this book because of the good ratings and reviews here but I simply didn't like it. It is not particularly bad or badly written, it's just that I couldn't find any of the stories interesting. I kept reading until the end because every time I finished a story I thought "oh maybe I will enjoy the next one" but frankly I never did. 

I bought Link's other collection of short stories, Magic for Beginners, along with this book and I'm hoping there will be a story or two that I like in there!
