First off Keri Lake is an amazing dark romance writer she balances the two sides of romance, dark topics, mystery, and suspense so fucking well. 80% of this 4 to 5 stars but I just found the ending discovering the mystery to be completely unsatisfying and at some parts even downright random. Like more of yeah I'm shocked by some events but not because it really made sense.

Wow! Right when I think Keri Lake can’t get any better she shocks us with this story. I absolutely loved this! The writing was so intricate and detailed I felt like I was right there with Celeste and Thierry. Thierry reminded me so much of Tobias from the Ravenhood series by Kate Stewart which I LOVE! everything about this story was so great. From the mystery/thriller to the consuming romance it was unputdownable. I’ve barely slept since starting 😂 if you want something that will surprise you with every turn and twist along with a romance that’s hot, pick this up!
