Straight off the bat, I’m going to say that I really enjoyed this book, and I would highly recommend that you pick it up but only if you are comfortable with the Warnings that it has because this deals with a lot in such a ground-breaking book. This book covers a lot of Themes - casual racism/colonialism, internalised homophobia (religious), conservative religious prejudice/homophobia, bullying/harassment, slurs, hate crime, and the threat of conversion therapy. However, I’m confident that if you are looking for a Modern YA then this is the book for you. Personally, I like reading A complete range of stories
 
Milo and Marcos at the End of the World is a story about love and finding the courage to go with what you want along with the courage to be yourself no matter the stigma that others might put on you for being yourself. Milo and Marcos met 3 years ago at Bible Camp and things didn’t end well - Fast forward to the present day and after thinking that Milo would never see Marcos again; Marcos moves and insoles in the same school as Milo and his best friend Van. 
 
Honestly, I loved the relationship between Milo and Marcos, Every Moment they had together filled my heart with love and seeing how they brought the best out of each other, especially the way Marcos could help Milo understand his feelings. Both characters have different beliefs and motivations, and their relationship is messy and authentic in a way that only queer relationships can be written. The main character is struggling with his religious guilt, while the love interest is an atheist with diehard religious parents.
 
However, not everything was all love in this book as it has some very dark moments where internalised homophobia, homophobic self-comments, and insults were the things Milo had to go through in this book. This book for many will feel real and the author has done an amazing job of bringing this to life in this book and making the reader feel the things that the characters were feeling. 
 
This Book is an amazing debut from the Author that deals with a lot in a super-powerful book; The religious struggle felt by the main character and being queer in a. Small, religious US town was amazing to read. It’s such a heart-wrenching book that leaves you wanting the next joyful moment between the protagonist and love interest.
 
I wish that the ending had a little more colour, it has left me with a few questions that I would love to be answered and just seemed to end at a happy moment without answering the questions the characters have raised throughout the book, I do have to wonder if this has been left Open-Ended for a reason and if there is more to come but for now, we will have to wait but having said that this book didn’t disappoint and The End of the World in the title is not an exaggeration.

As natural disasters begin to befall them the closer they become, Milo and Marcos soon begin to wonder if the universe itself is plotting against them in this young adult debut by the playwright and creator of The Two Princes podcast, Kevin Christopher Snipes. 

Milo Connolly has managed to survive most of high school without any major disasters, so by his calculations, he’s well past due for some sort of Epic Teenage Catastrophe. Even so, all he wants his senior year is to fly under the radar.

Everything is going exactly as planned until the dreamy and charismatic Marcos Price saunters back into his life after a three-year absence and turns his world upside down. Suddenly Milo is forced to confront the long-buried feelings that he’s kept hidden not only from himself but also from his deeply religious parents and community.

To make matters worse, strange things have been happening around his sleepy Florida town ever since Marcos’s return—sinkholes, blackouts, hailstorms. Mother Nature is out of control, and the closer Milo and Marcos get, the more disasters seem to befall them. In fact, as more and more bizarre occurrences pile up, Milo and Marcos find themselves faced with the unthinkable: Is there a larger, unseen force at play, trying to keep them apart? And if so, is their love worth risking the end of the world?
