Any book about marital sex should be written by both a man and a woman. Dr. Leman focuses much too deeply on things that pertain to him personally. I couldn’t relate to this book because I didn’t see me or my husband anywhere in these pages.

In Chapter 3, Leman attempts to speak to both women and men about why it’s important to have a sexually fulfilled spouse. When talking to women he lists five things about men that start with “a sexually fulfilled husband…” but when talking about women he lists three things about women that are actually about men and have no consistency. Telling a woman that keeping your husband fulfilled is a Scriptural mandate (true) but never suggesting the opposite is pure sexism.

Two stars instead of one because a few chapters had good information for Christian virgins about to get married.
