Let me tell you, I'm realizing more and more that I'm a sucker for characters because Bria is probably one of my favorite little agents of chaos that I've met in a book. I loved that we got to meet new characters that actually added to the plot. 

** spoilers past this point ** 
I normally hate the whole "we can't be together because it's too dangerous for you so I'm deciding to cut you off because I know what's best for you" trope, and I was absolutely fuming when it came up here. However there are much worse ways to handle the whole trope and I'm really happy that Lexie called Kieran on his overprotectiveness bullshit. I am annoyed that Lexi and Kieran now share power though even if it's in the name of "omg we're bonded now" (in Breene's defense, I prefer sharing power to the woman completely losing power, but still).

This series just keep giving!


I normally don't expect the second book in a series to be as good as the first, but this was as good, if not better. 


This installment really started to develop the other characters in the story, creating this unique band of misfits who become their own family. Lexi and Kieran's relationship develops further, showing the tru depth of their bond. 


Ooooo....and someone turned up the heat on the smut!! Oofftt this book got steamy!! 


If you havent started this series yet then I would definitely recommend them.

Sin & Magic was an absolutely perfect follow-up to Sin & Chocolate, with this second entry into the series I feel like K.F. Breene really upped the ante and gave us twice the action, twice the snarky humor, and definitely twice the steam! Alexis and Keiran are as awesome as ever, but what I really enjoyed was getting to see Alexis, Mordecai, and even Daisy, start to come into their own in this supernatural world. Bria is a great addition to this head strong and crazy team of characters K.F. Breene has created. More than a few times while I was reading, I started laughing out loud and ended up receiving a few odd looks from whoever happened to be around at the time. Bria is the best kind of crazy and absolutely hilarious. I definitely look forward to reading more about the whole team and hope Bria might get her own little spin-off! I cannot wait for the next installment in this series!!
