Až přejde zima mě nenadchla, hlavně kvůli jednoduchosti celého děje. Hlavní hrdince bylo 12 let, takže knížka byla hlavně pro čtenáře tohoto věku. Měla jsem ráda postavu Rune, byl zajímavě vykreslený, a kdyby byl v knize pro starší čtenáře, mohl by být velmi oblíbenou postavou. Knize vytknu tedy asi jen jednoduchý, přímý děj, ale na nic dalšího nadávat nemohu, protože to je middle grade.
