Najika is a gifted cook and attends the prestigious Seika Academy cooking school. Her friendship with two brothers, Sora and Daichi, creates resentment with other girls at the school. Her greatest rival is a popular, teen model, Akane who tries to drive Najika from the school by staging a cooking contest.

           Mizuno's introduction was an interesting addition. It's just a weird twist for him to be a Sora clone, not sure how I feel about that.

This is a reread. It's still fun. I like the perky main character and the emphasis on cooking. Unfortunately, someone had ripped out all the recipes from the library copy I was reading (Use a copier!). I've actually made the flan recipe before, so it inspired me to cook!

A fun shoujo manga about cooking. I forgot that Daichi and Sora's name meant "land" and "sky" and that there's a "rainbow" in Najica's name. Pretty fun meaning behind the names.

I was always disappointed by a certain character's inevitable betrayal. But that's how these stories go.

Edit: Oh yeah, I forgot to say that I appreciated that this translation kept the Japanese honorifics. They even kept the term Aniki, which is just a way of saying "older brother". It's not much, but culture and language are so closely tied that it's nice to have things like this represented in a translation.

Another great story. I really liked the focus on Akane this time. 

More compliments on the translation. I love the honorifics explanation page at the beginning. It came in handy when Najika tried to sneak in a "Daichi-kun" and he's just like "Knock that off." I love those little details.

I like that they touch on eating disorders and they really add another dimension to Akane's character. I really like characters like her, because flaws are nice and humanizing.

(Still no recipes. While I'm glad someone liked them, I'm pretty sure you can find them online if you searched for them.)

An okay side story. It's nice to visit Najika's home in Hokkaido and see her past, but I'm more interested in the drama in Tokyo. Still liking Akane for her frenemy status with Najika. I'm just glad to see that she's not outright villainous in her actions.

Still enjoyed it, despite the surprise turn. But that's life, I guess.

It's nice to see that Seiya isn't a total dick. I guess I enjoy villain redemption arcs.

No surprises here. It's fine as an ending. Unfortunately, I had an incomplete experience since a bunch of the pages were missing from the copy I was checking. I'm glad there was a bonus story for Akane though. Would have liked to have seen more epilogue for Najika's story.
