Like people need another reason to love Santa Klaus, but this book is another reason! As far historical accuracy, I have no clue how accurate this comic is to the "true origins" of Santa Klaus, but it's still such a great story to read. The content itself could be considered kind of dark, or maybe heavy is a better word... but, depending on the reader, it's not toooo dark. It's like just the right amount of medieval dramatics. Also the art work! AH-maze-balls. Such an amazing piece of art on a whole. 

I would totally recommend reading this book around Christmas time because WHY NOT IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE AND YOU WILL LOVE THIS. :)

Epic Santa is Epic.
Wasn't expecting much but I almost had to force myself not to read it on one go.
Loved the imaginary origin of nisse, the graphics are superb, the colouring amazing! Won't be spoiling anything, just try to get your hands on this book ASAP, or by next christmas ✌

What does Santa Claus do during the rest of the year? This graphic novel reimagines Santa Claus at his origins as a viking hero who wanted to bring back joy to his village during yuletide. 

An evil Lord has taken control of the town and he forces miners to work to the bones and forbids children from playing with any toys. Klaus has been away from the town and living as outcast, but when he sees what has become of it, he takes it upon himself to help the village find its happiness again.

This was surprisingly heartwarming and full of Christmas spirit. It starts out dark and there is some slightly gory parts, but it is ultimately a story of hope and caring for one another in the hardest days.

 Watch for me when the nights are long and the days grow cold, when there's need of a light in the darkness.
