Can’t even explain how much I loved Firefly Lane and Fly Away. The ending was absolutely perfect and tied both books together so well. I love all the character development and the whole theme of forgiveness and love is so pure. You’ll definitely cry a lot during these 2 books, but suchhhh a good read.

Another sad, yet very good book by Kristin Hannah. You certainly didn't have to have read Firefly Lane before reading Fly Away, but it was good to have the background story. All of the characters were strong. It was nice to finally find out Tully's mom's story.

The good: loved the story line of Cloud and how every question from the last book comes together and makes sense. Love that everyone realizes how they took Kate for granted and loved the happy ending.

The bad: so much repetition in the story telling and wow Marah sucks! She redeems herself but for most of the book i just wanted her to not be in it lol.

Kristin Hannah has my heart. I read this just wanting more Firefly Lane and didn’t think I’d get it, but this book exceeded my expectations tenfold. This barely feels like The Nightingale or Four Winds, but at the same time it does: her books share a fundamental grasp of human love, its pain and its beauty alike. They’re beautiful and devastating, heartbreaking and hopeful. 10/10 amazing
