I liked a lot of aspects of this book, but it just lacked a little in some areas for me. Cute, fun read all the same. I’ll never think about Nessy’s tongue the same again. 

“RIP to that absolutley beautiful monster between your legs” - Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad (2021) and this FMC

this felt way longer than 400 pages. i felt like the pacing was very slow which sucks because i wanted to love this book so much. i cannot believe she seemingly has no friends in new york at all, not a mention of one. incredibly shocking that an almost 30 year old has admittedly no one but her dead dad in her life?? the monster stuff was fun, but it was sadly too slow for me to feel confident recommending it.
