You could tell me AI and a teenage girl wrote this based off a few key words and prompts and I’d believe you. A slow build up filled with fluffy chapters not relevant to the story aka the emails between Janie and her parents. Her parents aren’t even apart of the main story yet I’ve read at least 15 pages dedicated to their emails about new haircuts, art shows and cringing everytime Janie calls her dad “Daddy”. 

The book also focuses a lot on Janies body and is weirdly fat shaming?? Every other chapter is the character calling herself chubby, making fun of her appearance, or other characters commenting on her appearance using the same recycled insults. 

 Good if you’re looking for something not at all serious, rated PG, and filled with sentences that only AI could help write. “Blockbuster of a kiss” “metrosexual apartment” “post dickie weekend” i mean cmonnnn
