going into this my expectations were really low considering i didnt care too much for the first two books in the series, but this was SIGNIFICANTLY better!!! i was actually rooting for jax and elena and connected with them as characters unlike the previous couples.

Again, another flop for me :(. I really did not like Jax in this story. I get it was meant to be a grumpy x sunshine but it was more biggest dickhead ever x normal girl. He was so horrible to Elena and for what? Genuinely. He was rude because he didn’t want to upset her but then he just upset her more. You know? I felt like this book could have been like half the length if he just opened up about his feelings and stopped pushing people away but no instead I had to suffer over 400 pages.

This book made me feel so many emotions 😩💖😭😭💗💖🦋🥺😫💕💕, I love Jax because even though he's reserved and "mean" with those lots of tattoos, he's all soft on the inside, and I have nothing else to say about Elena, she's AWESOME.

Ok so wow. This book is breathtaking. Tbh, Wrecked is my favorite book in the series. 

My heart shattered over a thousand times while reading. But it healed. 

Like oh my god. I did not expect it to be so sad, and heartbreaking. It definitely made me feel. 

The characters are amazing. Love them all. Jax and Elena, their salvation; they were both broken in their way and throughout their relationship, they pieced each other out like a puzzle. (I don't know if that was understandable 💀)

The plot is wow. I completely love it. It was so well thought.

The characters are portrayed so well. I’m also obsessed with Formula 1 racing now because of these books.

Jaaaaxxxxx 😭 nope I cried like the first time I watched The Notebook. So so good, all the feely feels with this one!

I didn’t connect with the characters as well in this instalment of the Dirty Air Series because I didn’t find Jax to be as likeable as Noah and Liam, despite the fact that I also share Jax’s struggles with anxiety. However, I still loved reading Jax and Elena’s love story.

UGHHHH MY HEART!!!!

This was by far the best book in the series (at least so far). My heart is fluttering and I’m going to miss this book so much. Good character development, good plot, great message. 

The writing in this one was much better as well. I can tell Lauren is finding her groove and style and settling in. 

My one complaint? Not enough sexy time. I think it would have benefitted the story to have more than two hot scenes but I will take anything so can get with Jax. 

Can’t wait to read Santi’s story!

I adore how raw and emotional this book is, its one of the first books in years that has made me tear up. I found myself not wanting to let go of these characters, the development was phenomenal. The world building? Phenomenal. im so excited to start and finish the last book in this series. Mentally preparing myself for an insane amount of heartache

           Wrecked is a sensual love story about two broken people fighting for their futures while trying to overcome past and present adversities. 

This novel is an intimate exploration of mental health, genetic disease, and long-term trauma/PTSD. Lauren Asher beautifully tells the stories of Jax — who has lived with a huge secret for many years (resulting in him not allowing any one to get close to him) and Elena — a woman who follows all the rules so she can provide for herself and her Abuela, especially because she’s all alone and has no one to help her.

Jax Kingston is a one-time F1 World Champion with a notorious reputation for partying and sleeping around. At the start of the new season, his team is a true contender for another World Champion title and can’t afford any bad press, so they decide to hire a Public Relations specialist to manage Jax and repair his reputation.

As a PR and Crisis Manager, Elena Gonzalez is praying for her big break because she has bills to pay and a sick family member to care for. So, when she gets the call to work with Jax for 10 months — shouldering the responsibility of keeping him in line and repairing his reputation — at an outrageously unbelievable sum of money, she jumps at the opportunity.

For my Dirty Air fans, fear not: we get great content with our favorite Bandini and McCoy boys and girls (I’m looking at you, James Mitchell 🤤). Plus, we are introduced to new characters (on and off the track) that will quickly become favorites!

Ultimately, Wrecked weaves the threads of love, family, despair, hopelessness, friendship, passion, grit, and tenacity to create a tapestry of a story that you won’t soon forget!

O.M.G. That's the only way I can describe this book. It sure as hell is a must-have-read. I first wasn't sure about the plot, but the more I read, the less I could close the book.

wow… just wow. everyone was right about this series only getting better! i started this book off slow and not totally feeling it and then all of a sudden, i was sobbing and entranced while reading jax and elena’s story. it really drew me in from elena’s vulnerability and how much i related to her personally. both jax and elena grew so much individually, and it was a treat to read of them growing together. so much more than a romance book! just wow ❤️

this slayed. i am feeling a lot of feelings, and none of them are good— in the best way possible.

objectively, this book was great I'd say, but im more of a personal kind of reviewer. from a personal perspective, this book made me sob. i loved it, but it also had some painfully accurate moments that resonated a bit too deeply with my personal life.

id say check trigger warnings for this book because it deals with heavy topics such as drug abuse, heavy anxiety & mental illness, disease, parental death and such.

overall, this was a great book! it was so ugh it was so good. the whole squad together and seeing everyone interact i was literally crying it was so sweet.

TLDR; slayed (Slade) once again!!! (Haha get it bcs like noah slade hahahahhahaha anyway)
