This books gives written for someone with the reading ability of the average 12-year-old (generous) but the last like, 50 pages of it are just explicit sex scenes. The narration refuses to use the word "fucking" (it opts for "freaking" instead) but - and I cannot stress this enough - contains explicit sex scenes.

All of this makes me wonder who this is for. You cannot sell it to kids but at the same time the writing is insulting to the intelligence of the average adult. If you are stupid horny for it, the sex scenes are not that good or enticing. My flabber is gasted.

Great page turner really enjoyed the little bits of comedy. Definitely could class as a rom comreally enjoyed it

I’m wondering if I can write this review without giving a star rating 😂 … ok, so imagine if your favorite fall cozy hallmark movie met a porno, and bam! You have this book 🤣 which is not at all what I was expecting by the cover. I think if you’re a fan of Tessa Bailey’s It Happened One Summer duology I think you’d be a fan of this book. I wanted more cozy mystery and less spice which is what I was expecting based on the cover art 🥲. Very insta-love, I can’t even say it’s a miscommunication trope so much as I should say it’s a NO communication trope, but I definitely can’t give it five stars but I don’t feel it’s fair rating it like 3 stars because I DID enjoy myself, it just wasn’t what I was expecting.

Adorable, with just enough believable spice, although I would’ve given the same rating without it. If you’ve ever dreamed of running a coffee shop in a small town and maybe meeting a sweet rugged type while you did it, this book is for you.
