I wasn't expecting much from this book, and I didn't get much. However, it was a fast but fun read, and I enjoyed it. Surprisingly, it was not predictable, although I could not relate to the main character at all. If you're looking for a quick read for the afternoon, read this, because Laurie Halse Anderson ensures that you won't be bored, and you will be laughing out loud in many parts of the book.
