Very insightful! Enjoyed everything the writer had to say. I do think the book might be lacking the general idea.

           Fairly straightforward message that the most important quality of a workplace is the circle of safety of the people working there. Once you agree (or disagree) with that the rest is just stories for entertainment.

This book explores the idea of a true leader and the reasons why people follow their visions. It talks about our needs as human beings and our instinctive behaviors. It shows you why we do what we do at a management level and how we can increase our influence in our teams. It has a lot of history in certain parts that seems not too necessary but the overall concept is pretty interesting if you want to learn about leading people successfully.

This is a book to read from time to time to refresh you mind about why we need Leadership and how this affects our life.

When I came to this book, I know exactly why people would love to be leaders. This book added to me, why we people might need Leaders and how much this is vital for businesses and countries.

That chapter about the four hormones affecting us and helping us to be happy is extra-ordinary and very well written. 

I will revisit this book again indeed

Save yourself the time. Watched Sinek's TED talk and was excited to read this book. Turns out, the book is mainly an elaboration of his main idea of the importance of leaders making their subordinates feel safe in order for the organisation to perform better. Regardless, it was still an enjoyable read with various anecdotes though nothing groundbreaking from his main idea of "why good leaders make you feel safe".

I found this book to be pretty good. The author's message was clear, and the chapters were split quite nicely. They flowed well, and it didn't feel like a slog to read. I found the book gave a great message, and it makes one reflect on how they should lead (regardless of the situation).

This book is OK, but not ground breaking. Summarised in one sentence it's: "Look after your people and they will look after your company." but Sinek uses a bookload more words to repeat the same thing many times. 

He does go into some detail about why the world is in such a state (hint: because if the baby boomers) and explains how we got here, which is interesting.
