This is a toss uo between 1.5 and 2 stars.

Honestly, this was an overall miss for Meier. Not only was it riddled with relatively poor depictions of Irish tradition, but it made me uncomfortable to read it at times simply because of the way it depicted the Irish. The fairy bit wasn't horrible but it did get old quickly as well. And the motivation for murder seemed weak and was also biased against the Irish.
