I recently found myself interested in books that are a retelling of my favorite childhood stories. When I came across Lexi’s book, I just knew I had to read it. 

Gwen was an ordinary girl who loved reading, especially books on Camelot. So when she came face-to-face with Merlin, she thought she was being pranked. Then add in traveling to Camelot to meet not only Arthur but also Lancelot, and Gwen became a total fan girl. 

Throughout the book Gwen finds herself drawn to the three men. Even though they all desire her, they don’t seem to have an interest in sharing. Arthur states his claim on Gwen, but Merlin and Lancelot can’t seem to accept that. 

I love reverse harems and multiple book-boyfriends; however, it sometimes seems too easy once all the men find themselves interested in the FMC. In this book though…there was a reality to the fictional situations that arose. Gwen battled internally with having feelings for three men, but the harem doesn’t come together easily. 

I also found it entertaining how Gwen continuously referenced the stories she read on Arthur, Melin, and Lancelot. This put a fun spin on the storyline and made Gwen so much more relatable. 

If you enjoy fantasy, knights, and romance, this one is definitely for you. I really enjoyed this book and can wait to continue the series of Nights in Camelot.
