Life On the Edge is a well put together, comprehensive look at the evolution of quantum biology. I've only delved into the sciences, and mostly astronomy at that, so this book was uncharted territory for me. The authors introduce and explain the subject in an understandable, engaging way -- I appreciated all the pictures and diagrams, they really helped enhance and explain the concepts explored in the text. Every chapter of this book takes a different puzzle -- from the mystery of a bird's inherent migration instincts to the mechanics of human thought -- and uses quantum biology to explain the evolution, chemistry, and mechanics of our world. A great, fascinating book, and an intriguing read for anyone looking to delve deeper into this emerging field of science.
