3/5 <br /><br />Honestly, 70% smut, 30% plot. Not a complicated story, but it wasn't trying to be. Pure monster-loving, low angst fun. The MCs were very into each other. Their relationship started off with intense communication and remained that way throughout the story. No miscommunication trope here to make me DNF the book! That's worth a half star alone. <br /><br />Side note: I wasn't paying attention and was surprised to see a woman wrote this halfway through. A lot of M/M erotica/romance is written a certain way by women authors that I can't exactly describe. So that was sort of refreshing.
