The love I had for this book was a strange type of love. Emily was wonderful. You couldn't help but cheer for her as the book went on and she tried to put her life back together. Sandy/Einstein, on the other hand, I had very strong, negative feelings about. He was snobby and self-centered, and quite frankly, an asshole. Both as man and dog. Even the redemption wasn't that redeeming to me. But, I still absolutely adored this book. 

I would like to know more about Emily's life after this book. Is it too much to hope for a sequel? (Probably.) She was just that type of an addictive character. 

I shed a few tears, I hurled obscenities at the man/dog. I laughed. All in all, an excellent way to spend my commute this past couple weeks. :)
