This sounded like it was going to be an interesting suspense story. For me, it just felt like your basic, average mystery. I did have some issues with this book, but it was still an enjoyable read for me. I felt like I knew the twist, but I had it a little wrong. If you enjoy suspense mysteries with family drama then I'd give this a try. I'm interested to check out other books by this author.

I absolutely love Lisa jewell!! I love how she makes you think you know what’s happening and then twists it! This story was great and the characters were great

All I can say is, now I'm really paranoid to date someone (Ha!). Slow beginning, as is usually the case with suspenseful/mystery books. But once you get the ball rolling the characters are pretty captivating. Except for Lily, gosh she was annoying, but definitely a necessary character to the story. In many parts the plot was kind of predictable but not in a bad way... more in a "Yes! I knew it!" way. I also enjoyed Lisa Jewell's writing. It wasn't stuffy or overly filled with nonsense jargon and was easy to follow. 

I can see myself reading more of her books in the future!

What a fantastic storyline, really enjoyed reading I Found You, such a gripping story that had me wanting to keep reading on.

This is the second Lisa Jewell book I’ve read, and I much preferred this one to the Third Wife (which I liked, but not this much). I’ve noticed that the author has a real gift for putting well-drawn ordinary people into extraordinary circumstances.

There are three different plotlines in this book. We have the story of single mom Alice Lake, who finds a man with amnesia on the beach by her home. Then there’s Lily, who’s on the search for her missing husband. And then we go back in time to the brother and sister Gray and Kristy, who meet a man on the beach that immediately sets off warning bells’ for Gray.

These three stories are naturally connected, but I was so pleased to find myself reading late into the night because I had to learn the outcome. These characters felt so fully realized, even the secondary characters like Alice’s three kids had personalities that came through. The ending felt complete and yet I still wanted more.

This book was alright. At times the story seemed to drag, but overall it was pretty enjoyable even though it was fairly predictable. I didn't really like any of the characters either.

I loved the premise of the book. But the plot is weak and the characters are one dimensional and too cliché for me.

The ending redeemed this a bit. I didn't see that coming at all. So, one more star fro the ending.

All in all, guess I wouldn't recommend. This book is boring.
