Years ago I read a book by Lisa Scottoline - it was the first one in one of her series (I can't remember which one) and it didn't entice me to continue reading her books. Someone recently told me that they had read Stay Quiet and really enjoyed it and when I discovered that it was a standalone I decided to give it a chance. I downloaded it from the Kindle Library Overdrive and couldn't put it down so now I have a new favorite standalone thriller author to read. 

Stay Quiet is about a family secret and has all the pacings of a fast track suspense thriller - my favorite genre. 

Really enjoyed it.
