aww!! i had never read a book about mermaids!!
this book had so many surprises! 
Although,it kind of went fast paced and that is what i like about it.
this book is about a girl named Emily.long story short, Emily discovers she is a mermaid when she goes to swimming lessons for the first time. 
she also discovers that her long lost father didn't leave her when she was born after all when she goes to explore the depths of the water with her new bet friend Shona: a mermaid like her.

it is a great book for middle-schoolers.

its a very intresting book about ayoung girl(emily) getting to know a unique thing about her.I wopuld say you must read it in order to understand it more better.My favorite part was when someones meormy was getting drained.

Very cute book of a girl who finds out she has a mermaid background. Lovely story has toward the end of the book it gets a little more exciting as the story picks up. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
