I really really wanted to like this book, but it was just soooo slow and it was making me lose focus on it. DNF at 15% ):

I enjoyed this more than I thought that I would, considering that I only picked it up because it was given to me for free. Though this isn't usually the kind of book that I go for, I found myself drawn in by the mystery of it all and the characters. I kept trying to guess what happened throughout the book and while I got close, there were plot twists I didn't see coming until they were happening. The dual timeline was effective for showing the story in a way that made you figure it out rather than just giving it to you.
