David Simpson: Interference Paintings 1990-2012

California abstract painter David Simpson has been revered as an artist and teacher in the United States and Europe since the 1950s. This first monograph focuses on works he has been producing since 1990, in which he uses pigments composed of titanium dioxide electronically coated with mica particles to create nuanced, mercurial paintings.
