I read this book when I was a kid and consider it one of my cherished stories/books.

As an adult I realize how...mature (infertility, tyranny, etc) some of the topics touched on were. That being said, I still feel like it holds up pretty well.

The characters are delightful. The story is well paced and broken up in a good way.
