If my mum was rating this she would of given it a 5 star, she loved it but there was just something that I didn’t click with in this book! 

I felt like the story had a good amount of depth init compared to other similar novels, the characters have good backgrounds that really made them who they were. I loved the children at the school and the supporting characters and subplots were great. 

I don’t know why but I really didn’t like the British pop culture references which is odd because I’m British and got them all but I just didn’t like them in there, felt to much. 

Would definitely try a different Mandy Baggot book. This was a lovely Christmas read.
