MAP Office--the collective name under which Valérie Portefaix and Laurent Gutierrez have worked since 1997--us a generator of ideas, a respite of reflexivity that strives to delimit existing conditions in terms of the urban, environmental, institutional, and biopolitical, taking the city as an object of research and site of intervention.
