InSEXts Vol. 1

Insexts was certainly a shock once I got into it. I saw that it was by Bennett and grabbed it from the library without bothering to really look into what it was about. Body horror with bug lesbians and lots of erotica! The story stars a Lady and her maid who use... some sort of strange magic thing to turn themselves into butterfly women. They use their powers to get rid of the Lady's abusive husband, and later to strike down evil from the streets. Woo! The story is a bit too compressed for my taste. It definitely could have used a bit more breathing room to make more sense. The art was also a bit weak. But overall this was a weird, but really novel series. It's a pulp, so expect it to be ridiculous, but I'm down for bug lesbians fighting crime and misogyny!

La estética es muyyyy guay y por el final creo que la historia mejora, pero al principio me resulta todo muy artificial, no consigo creérmelo. Sobre todo, los diálogos no me han parecido naturales. La historia también cojea muchísimo: las cosas "suceden", pero en ningún momento entiendes por qué. Pero en general el cómic está bastante chulo.
