this book was great. i could not believe this was the very first book that I've read taking place in London. 
Anyway, Lucy portrayed an interesting down to earth story by the author Mariane. She gave me a very detailed narration that helped my mind picture everything that Lucy was going thru. 
I gave it 5 stars because I loved the story and because Marian did a great job in writing it.

2.5 really. I love Marian Keyes but I just didn't enjoy this as much as the first time I read it some 15 years ago.

Though this book seemed to drag a little in some places, I really enjoyed it. Great read.

What happens when a psychic tells Lucy that she'll be married within the year? Her flatmates panic! What is going to happen to their blissful existence of eating take-out, drinking too much wine, bringing men home, and never vacuuming? Lucy frustrated me a lot through this book but I'm god I stuck it out because I have to say this is one of the best character developments I have read. Oh her choice in men! Gus! I couldn't stand him from the start and her willingness to just hand over everything and take everything annoyed me to no end. Oh and her roommate Karen was such a a b****! It all started to make sense with her father and I'm glad she grew a backbone. I think this is a book I will enjoy the second time knowing she won't always be so floppy
