"Dino Crisis" is Capcom's newest creation in the survival horror genre, a category established by the "Resident Evil" series. The action/adventure gameplay is complemented with a terrifying Jurassic Park style storyline. Players must enter a tropical island filled with carnivorous dinosaurs to capture a renegade scientist. The dinosaurs are capable of disarming a character; rendering the player helpless until a new weapon is selected. The game also incorporates an inventory and weapon combination system, along with a deadly arsenal and new healing methods.
