Read this book AGES ago. It was so different from the other MDH books I read. She is a bit of a local celebrity where I grew up so I read all of her books. 
While this may not have aged as well as I thought/hoped it would have, it still stuck with me about the dangers of a beautiful face. I remember LOVING this book when I first read it and so I will always love it.

Probably the most enjoyable book of hers I've read. My only problem was that I really liked the villain. I guess he put a spell on me too. I am at peace with the ending as I understand this is meant to be for kids, but I still wish it would have went on another option.
