The Goodbye Process

I feel I'm about to write the meanest review ever, but I feel I was really led astray by by the goodreads reviews on this book. I bought this book for an exchange since it overwhelmingly had 5 stars. However, I don't know how that's possible - this book feels so fake deep. It spoon feeds you every lesson at the end of each story.

Also I'd say about half of the people in these stories are stupid? The fact there were like 2 stories where women didn't call 911 when someone hit their head when a person was profusely bleeding in front of them until too late is kind of insane. No one in these stories calls for help ever? Many make questionable decisions which may be the whole point of those said stories - but its to the point where it didn't feel believable as a normal sane person to do some of these things. I am convinced that these stories don't take place in our world, but in a world where common sense doesn't exist. At least that would explain some of the character's actions. 

I actually wanted to stop reading this book, but since i bought it for a book exchange I forced myself to finish it but it was not worth it. After relooking at all the reviewers, maybe its just not a book intended for my demographic?
