I received a copy of The Dystopia Chronicles through Goodreads First Reads.

The Dystopia Chronicles is the second book in the trilogy and follows the Atopia Chronicles so be sure to read them in order or you will be lost even with the glossary. A majority of the character development happens in the first book. This book delves into the plot. That being said, If you enjoyed the Atopia Chronicles then this is a must read. 

Robert Baxter is cast out of Atopia and is in search of his friend Willy’s lost body. He realizes that he may lose his loved ones in the process of saving the planet. There are a lot of different aspects of the story that could have made it confusing but somehow didn’t. It is written in a way that makes it easy to understand the technology and their connections and impact on everything else. This book makes you think about the way one thing can change and shape other things. 

There is a lot going on in these books and it is easy to re-read and get more out of them the second time. I am in awe at the world Mather created in this series.
