This book really meandered a lot and took a lot of unnecessary turns, to the point I felt kinda sick reading it, like I was being led around in loop de loops, but not in an interesting way. I found the characters unrelatable as well. Really odd given what I considered high quality work from Miranda on the first book of hers I read.
