Both of which I love, even more than small town romance which uh hello is also a trope here.

5/5 no 10/10 I laughed my way through this book and my heart also broke through the book, um yes tad spoiler but Sully reminded me so much of my own grandfather going through Alzheimer's.

Typically i love Meghan’s work..BUT this one was slow and repetitive for me.. also the whole breaking up with a boyfriend then immediately dating new guy 12 hours later OH AND WE ALREADY SAID I LOVE YOU?

Eh. Not for me.

I liked the slowburn. Also the relationships with every character was amazing. It was so well done. I was a little bit worried about the thickness of the book but I was a super easy and quick read. The only thing that I didn’t like so much was the ending. The whole story was slow and still exiting, but the ending was very rushed.

Overall I absolutely loved reading this book. Who wouldn’t love Sawyer?

I liked the slowburn. Also the relationships with every character was amazing. It was so well done. I was a little bit worried about the thickness of the book but I was a super easy and quick read. I really loved the first 85% of this book. It was sweet and heartfelt and made me smile. And then the last 15% was annoying/ “miscommunication in the third act.” 

Meghan Quinn is so good at what she does, sweet and funny romances, and I love all the nods to her other books/ characters. She’s a feel good read go to for me. 

Overall Sawyer and Fallon are cuties. And I freaking love Jaz (and Roarick.)

Fallon Long is just about to lose the Cannoodle Cove Cabins where she spent summers with her grandparents and fell in love with the town of Cannoodle.  After her grandmother's death, Fallon's grandfather, Sully, is diagnosed with Alzheimer's, and she fears that the loss of the Cabins will be the end of him.  She is determined to renovate the Cabins and make a go of it, but her lack of skills has made that almost impossible.  Sawyer is running from the temper tantrum he threw during the wedding of his best friend and his ex-girlfriend.  The video of the blow-up has gone viral, and now all Sawyer wants to do is hide out, leaving the world behind him, but an unexpected encounter with Sully changes his view of what the rest of his life could look like.

Runaway Groomsman is a fun romance with some serious moments that add depth to the story.  Both Fallon and Sawyer are easy to like and unique supporting characters elevate this cute rom-com.  While the romance is definitely slow burn, it never seems to drag and all the events of the story seem important to the plot and development of the characters.  However, the last few chapters of the book do get a little frustrating, and the third act conflict comes across as a bit contrived.  Overall, though, Runaway Groomsman is a very entertaining story that keeps the reader engaged right up to the very end.

I loved this book!! I loved both the individual characters and them together, which is one of my favourite things in books. Both Fallon and Sawyer develop as characters, realising their worth and working hard to get to where they wanted to be in life was amazing.

Sawyer was such a sweet love interest, i loved his character. Him being a writer and channelling that in his everyday life and his relationship with Fallon was so sweet. Him dealing with Fallon's grandpa was one of my favourite things in this book because we really see what type of character he is!

The only reason this book wasn't five stars for me, was the slight miscommunication towards the end :(

i have mixed feelings about this book. it was bad but it wasn’t great either. i felt it was slow moving and kind of predictable. to be honest a little cringy as well. but, i did love Sully. he was a great touching character mixed in there.
