Since book one, we’ve been able to get several sides to this story. All very compelling. All incredibly interesting. <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1423121295/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=gonwitthewor-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=1423121295" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Lost In Time</a> picks up after <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004X8W3YG/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=gonwitthewor-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B004X8W3YG" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Bloody Valentine</a>, and oh, boy...it is romantic and steamy! Especially since it begins with Jack and Schuyler (Pronounced: Sky-ler), being coupley with each other, and the love they have for one another just pours out of these pages. I loved it! This theme continues with them throughout the book, even after they go through some pretty scary battles. Mimi and Oliver’s journey to the seventh (circle of Hell) to rescue Kingsley is picturesque, and pretty uneventful, up until the end. The build up of the Mimi/Kingsley reunion was full of anticipation! Unfortunately, Kingsley had other plans, and I wondered if the trip was going to turn out differently. For a while, I was preparing myself for disappointment, <a href="http://www.melissa-delacruz.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Melissa de la Cruz</a> delivered beautifully in the end. *sigh* And Mimi ended up really surprising me, showing the most heart ever. The story I wasn’t expecting to read in this book was that of Michael and Gabrielle, a.k.a. Charles Force and Allegra Van Alen. Since reading the short story of how Allegra and Ben, Schuyler’s father, met in <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004X8W3YG/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=gonwitthewor-20&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;camp=217145&amp;creative=399373&amp;creativeASIN=B004X8W3YG" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Bloody Valentine</a>, I’ve been curious as to how the rest played out. We get the full, heartbreaking story here. I actually felt pity for Charles Force! He really loves Allegra unconditionally...enough to even let her go and love another man. I didn’t want this book to end...but sadly, it did...and the final book, <a href="http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/10814946-the-gates-of-paradise" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">The Gates of Paradise</a>, will not be out until January 2013!! *sobs* We are left with some cliffhangers! Mimi and Jack! Schuyler, Oliver, and Kingsley! Charles and Allegra! I wish I could go further into the endings, but that would be completely spoilery for you guys. Just know you won’t be disappointed. :)

SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED IN THIS BOOK. MIMI WENT TO HELL TO TRY TO BRING MIMI'S LOVE KINGSLEY BACK TO EARTH TAKING OLIVER WITH HIM FOR HER TO SWAP OUT SOULS. MEANWHILE, SCHUYLER AND JACK HAS GOTTEN MARRIED AND NOW ARE TRYING TO FIND THE GATEKEEPER: CATHERINE.
MEANWHILE ALL THAT IS HAPPENING, MELISSA TELLS US HOW ALLEGRA WENT ALONG WITH HER RELATIONSHIP WITH HER HUMAN FAMILIAR STEPHEN CHASE BACK IN TH BEGINNING.
LETS SEE HOW THE STORY CONTINUES NOW THAT JACK AND MIMI ARE TRYING TO TAKE THE BOND WAY FROM THEMSELVES TO BE WITH THEIR LOVERS AND SCHUYLER AND THE VENATORS ARE TRYING TO WIN THE GRAND BATTLE AGAINST THE SILVER BLOODS AND THE MORNING STAR; THE DEVIL HIMSELF. I LOVE THIS SERIES. CAN'T WAIT FOR THE FINALE OF THE SERIES.

So I gave this book a 3 mainly because I honestly could not remember what the heck was going on. Being the 6th book in the series, I naturally read the other books some time earlier. I opened the book to the first page and drew a blank. Thankfully though, after getting a few pages into it, most of the storyline came back to me. 

This series has never been one of my absolute favorites, but I always thought it was pretty good. Lost in Time takes place after Jack and Schulyer's bonding. They're finally together and you'd think everything would be alright now right? NOPE! Psycho Mimi wants revenge on Jack. They were supposed to have a blood trial to determine their fates, but Jack skipped out on it. However, as you go on in the book, Mimi decides to let Jack go and give up on her revenge. Why? Because she too has fallen in love with someone other than her bond-mate. Kingsley Martin. Unfortunately for her, Kingsley is currently in the Underworld. So, Mimi, along with Oliver, goes down to the Underworld to try adn get him out. Why does Mimi bring Oliver along? I'll just say one thing: A sacrifice needs to be made in order to get Kingsley back. Now at this point, I wanted to murder Mimi. I knew she was a...witch...but I never thought she could be capable of doing something like that. I mean, come on, Oliver is awesome and doesn't deserve to be sacrificed. I won't say much else on that topic, except that even the most wicked of people are full of surprises. ;)

What bothered me during this book was how Mimi was all mad at Jack for leaving her and running off with Schulyer, yet while at the same time, she was in love with Kingsley. A little hypocritical don't you think?


  They were standing on a hill, looking down upon a tall city. Tartarus. The capital of Hell. “How strange,” Oliver said. “It looks exactly like New York.” 

Once in the Underworld, Mimi and Oliver find Kingsley. But instead of finding him begging for a way out, he seems perfectly content with his new life in Hell. 

My favorite part of the story was when they were telling Allegra's story. I found it the most interesting. It was so sad though. One minute I was all, "Awww!", and the next I was screaming (in my head obviously :P) "Oh My Gosh! That's horrible!"

Overall, I suppose I could have given the book a slightly higher rating had it not been for the fact that I couldn't remember any of the other books. I just turned 18 and I'm losing my memory already, ha! Keep on the look out for the last book in the series, expected to be released sometime next year.

Lost in Time Blue Bloods 6 was an amazing book, it really was. I mean, at first it took some time to get into it and understand exactly what was going on, but once I recalled everything that I had read 2 years ago, I was in love with the book, and remembered why I loved the series in the first place.
