Men, Women and the Mystery of Love ... hmm how can I say this delicately, I did enjoy it but I think I should have read Love and Responsibility and this work side-by-side. Because this is just insights from JPII’s book, obviously there is going to be some pieces that feel almost missing.

On to the positives though because there were more than a few. The virtue of “tenderness” in marriage is so inviting. JPII’s vision of spouses actually having hearts that are truly unified to one another — and being able to enter into the interior life of the other, blew me away. Another great one that has come up in even my own prayer recently is the law of the gift and that, it takes three to get married. God, Husband, and Wife.
